Oh how beautiful was she
I loved her even though I knew,
She would never be with me,
My affection for her was true,

Her ivory freckled skin made me weak,
Those twinkling hazel green eyes,
Her love is what I would always seek,
I was too blinded to see all the lies,

This girl left me in the dark,
My heart still yearns for her touch,
I knew there was never even a spark,
But oh god I loved her too much

Was I selfish for wanting to be more than friends,
Our friendship ended after eleven years,
People say I’m only going along with trends,
In the end all that was left of us was tears,

Is it wrong to miss someone who hurt you,
Those good memories I will cherish,
Many others say my feelings are taboo
But I will not let my love perish

The girl I loved is forever missing,
Love is a beautiful thing that can’t be restrained,
Male or female it doesn’t matter who you’re kissing,
Love should never have to be explained.
This is a poem about a friend I had that I loved very much but we had a falling out (it wasn't because of my feelings for her).... preview at found on pintrest....
